Expanding to serve new Ground Station and Data Centre services

Santander Teleport has started preparations to expand its facility to double its land area, to continue promoting ground station services for GEO, MEO and LEO satellite constellations, as well as data centre services. Initial technical land surveys have been completed and the new teleport expansion area is expected to be available during the end of 2023, beginning of 2024.

Inmarsat, the world’s leading provider of global, mobile connectivity solutions, has chosen Santander Teleport to host and maintain a new Satellite Access Station (SAS) for the new Inmarsat-6 satellites, the first of which is scheduled to launch at the end of 2021.

Fast 10 Top Teleport Operators: 5 out of 5

For the fifth consecutive year, Santander Teleport has appeared in the ranking of the Fast 10 Top Teleport Operators published by the World Teleport Association (WTA) .

Each year, the WTA publishes the world´s rankings of companies that operate teleports for commercial purposes. The Fast 10 ranks all teleport-operating companies based on year-over-year revenue growth in their most recent fiscal year.

Kymeta Demo Roadshow

Santander Teleport joins Kymeta as a partner enabling the European Demo Drive that will start in September and run in several countries including: Belgium, France, Germany and Spain. The purpose of this event is to demosntrate Kymeta´s latest u8 flat-panel terminal.
