Santander Teleport is proud to announce the renewal of its Tier IV Certification from the World Teleport Association (WTA) — the highest level of recognition for teleport facilities worldwide.
At Santander Teleport, we are proud to announce the successful completion of our external surveillance audit for the ISO 27001 certification, conducted by AENOR. This year’s audit report confirms a positive outcome, with no instances of non-conformity. This result underscores our steadfast commitment to maintaining the highest standards of information security management.
Santander Teleport has started preparations to expand its facility to double its land area, to continue promoting ground station services for GEO, MEO and LEO satellite constellations, as well as data centre services. Initial technical land surveys have been completed and the new teleport expansion area is expected to be available during the end of 2023, beginning of 2024.
The World Teleport Association (WTA) has renewed the certification of Santander Teleport and noted an improvement to Tier 4 under WTA’s Teleport Certification Program, following an audit of the facility by the association.

Each year, the WTA publishes the world´s rankings of companies that operate teleports for commercial purposes. The Fast 10 ranks all teleport-operating companies based on year-over-year revenue growth in their most recent fiscal year.
Santander Teleport joins Kymeta as a partner enabling the European Demo Drive that will start in September and run in several countries including: Belgium, France, Germany and Spain. The purpose of this event is to demosntrate Kymeta´s latest u8 flat-panel terminal.
