INHOSPITABLE AND REMOTE… YET CLOSE

Spanish Antarctic expedition uses VSAT services provided by Santander Teleport and Erzia to enable remote communications to scientists on board an oceanographic research vessel. The latest modem, traffic acceleration and data compression technologies have enabled the best use of the space segment on XTAR-LANT satellite, reducing bandwidth costs to the customer.
This X-band satellite service is fully managed by the Santander Teleport 24/7 Network Operations Centre.

REMARKABLE – SUCCESFUL LIVE TESTING OF 5 AERO ANTENNAS

Santander Teleport, along with Satcom Direct and MTNGOV, has successfully completed a live demonstration of a satellite transmission using five different aeronautical antennas. These unprecedented tests were carried out at our Spanish teleport facilities and will support our partners and customers in their ambition to provide first-class satellite services for the aero industry.

Manufacturers involved include: GD Satcom, L-3 Communications, Rantec Microwave Antennas, Tecom and Thinkom Solutions.
