Santander Teleport is providing X-band teleport services for In-Orbit Testing of a recently launched commercial satellite in collaboration with a major satellite operator. The satellite was successfully launched on a Proton rocket from Baikonur Cosmodrome last December and will be delivering next generation broadcast, VSAT and broadband services in Europe, Middle East and Africa
In-Orbit Testing (IOT) is carried out following a satellite launch to assess the performance and integrity of the satellite communication payloads and the antenna platform prior to releasing the satellite for commercial operations.
